Samsung S27B550V Monitor Input Lag Test.
Testing the input lag of the Samsung S27B550V 27" LED backlit LCD Monitor using a Mouse & Keyboard in the XMB of the PS3 & I actually didn't see any input lag when I slowed the video down & moved it frame by frame because as far as I can see the XMB moved in the same frame that the keys was pressed in, I was shocked by this even though this is my second test because I also did the stop clock test with my laptop hooked up to the LCD monitor & a CRT monitor & the pictures show the monitors with the same time on the ms clock.
___________________________________________________
& here is a test with the PS3 Dualshock 3 in Street Fighter 4
___________________________________________________________________
Below are some Input Lag Test results using the input lag clock test Samsung S27B550V vs CRT & also vs my laptop screen,
Samsung S27B550V was hooked up through HDMI in all the test with the CRT being hooked up through VGA & for the most part they both showed the same time in the snapshots with a few times where the CRT would be ahead & even some times showing the LCD monitor being ahead which is strange since CRT monitors don't have any input lag that I know of so I'm guessing it was just a few hiccups that cause the Samsung S27B550V to be ahead of a CRT in a few shots , The Samsung S27B550V vs the Laptop screen mostly showed the S27B550V ahead with the same number being shown a few times.
Call of Duty Black Ops II should use this lost & forgotten PlayStation 3 feature: Keyboard & Mouse support
I almost forgot all about Keyboard & Mouse support being a feature of the PlayStation 3 for games, I was bored & decided to try it out for the 1st time tonight, I'm not much of a First Person Shooter player & I never really played much games on my computers so this was probably my 1st time really playing a FPS with a KB & M & it's also like my 2nd time playing Unreal Tournament 3 since maybe the 1st year or so that it came out around 2007 - 2008 it's just been in my stack of games but I just tried it out with M/KB & it plays a lot better than I ever remember it playing with a controller & I'm not really sure if I had the mouse set right I just moved the sliders & tried it out & as I was playing all I could think is why the hell hasn't any COD games used this feature on the PS3? yeah I know the people playing with controllers will be crying saying it's unfair but they shouldn't cry they should just get a KB/M too if they feel like it's unfair . PS: the mouse pad I had sucked but it's the only one I could find laying around the house & I'm playing on a dresser instead of a computer desk so it's not really the best set up for playing KB/M games but I was just testing it out.

is Sony getting on your Nerves with the PlayStation? well that's exactly what they are trying to do (Patent)
A newly published Sony Patent shows how Sony wants to study your nerve responses while using a electronic device so the information can be used to predict your actions when using the device.
CONTROL OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING NERVE ANALYSIS
& There is also a Sony Patent for HEADS-UP-DISPLAY SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TOOL
& Gaze-Assisted Computer Interface
CONTROL OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING NERVE ANALYSIS
& There is also a Sony Patent for HEADS-UP-DISPLAY SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TOOL
& Gaze-Assisted Computer Interface
If I had to guess I would say that all of this will have to do with a newer model of the Sony Heads Up Display that will work with the PS4 or maybe the Clouds or PlayStation Vita.

Sports Champions 2 Tennis Gameplay Video & review (PS3 PlayStation Move )
Here is a video of Tennis from the Sports Champions 2 demo & it's easily the best motion controlled Tennis game just from the demo even with assist on. the full game comes out October 30th & will feature Boxing , Bowling , Golf , Tennis , Skiing & a brand new Archery game. if you have already played Sports Champion 1 then you already know that the game is a lot better once the assist comes off & give you full control of the gameplay Sports Champions 2 will be the same way, so if you have played the demo & think that it's too easy or you don't feel like you have as much control as you want to have don't worry it's just the assist that's there for new players to help them get into the game & the full game will be a lot better without the assist.

Abstract
A tongue tracking interface apparatus for control of a computer program
may include a mouthpiece configured to be worn over one or more teeth of
a user of the computer program. The mouthpiece can include one or more
sensors configured to determine one or more tongue orientation
characteristics of the user. Other sensors such as microphones, pressure
sensors, etc. located around the head, face, and neck, can also be used
for determining tongue orientation characteristics.
1. A tongue tracking interface apparatus for control of a computer program, comprising: a mouthpiece configured to be worn over one or more teeth of a user of the computer program, the mouthpiece including one or more sensors configured to determine one or more tongue orientation characteristics of the user.
2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more sensors include a caged magnetic ball that may be manipulated with the user's tongue, the caged magnetic ball having an associated magnetic field.
3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more sensors include a pressure sensor.
4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more sensors include a thermal camera.
5. A tongue tracking interface apparatus for control of a computer program, comprising: a headset to be worn by a user of the computer program, the headset including one or more sensors configured to determine one or more tongue orientation characteristics of the user.
6. The tongue tracking interface apparatus of claim 5, wherein the one or more sensors include two microphones, each microphone being located on the tip of a corresponding earphone of the headset, the microphones being configured to determine one or more tongue orientation characteristics of the user.
7. The tongue tracking interface apparatus of claim 6, further comprising two stethoscope acoustic sensors, each stethoscope acoustic sensor being located at the center of a corresponding earphone, the stethoscope acoustic sensors being configured to detect sound generated by movement of the user's jaw.
8. The tongue tracking interface apparatus of claim 6, further comprising one or more additional microphones, the additional microphones being located at a contact point between the headset and the user's chin, the microphone being configured to detect sound generated by movement of the user's jaw.
